For our friends who have been wondering where we've been the past year. Well, just look in our back yard. Actually, this house is no longer in our back yard, it's on its own lot with it's garage and access. Pretty cool huh? Basically, we prayed that God would get us a house with more room (enough to do the work we do with campus students), but that allowed us some space when we needed it. Well, he provided and it truly is a miracle. The project has been a bear to handle as it is very tall and we have a setback in some places of 3.5 feet to neighboring properties.
But everyone has been cool. Sergio, of Fortress Construction did the framing and rough plumbing and electrical. He's a great contractor...and he's honest! DA Homes did most of the siding work (they did a tremendous job by the way). Advanced painting handled the difficult task of painting the exterior. Overall, things are going well. There's one neighbor to our South that has given us much grief and torment. In fact, we had to hire a lawyer to keep them from harassing our workers and preventing us from moving fwd. Anyway, we have an injuction set up to keep them from molesting us any further. Pray for them as we are too.
